Yale’s QB For The 2028 Season?

Raising suspicions in New Haven that he may be a closet Harvard fan, first-year Yale head coach Tom Williams channeled his inner-Bill Bellichek and made the inexplicable decision to fake a punt deep in his own territory on fourth down despite needing TWENTY-TWO yards to get the first down and the fact that he WAS BEATING Harvard at the time. Well you know the rest. Harvard pulls out a late win. Oh well. Bad day for the Bulldogs.

But…it was a great day for me! Much like the 50,000 or so of my older counterparts who never made it into the Yale Bowl, I enjoyed my time outside of the stadium more than my time in the stands. We stayed for two quarters and I loved what I saw (especially the passing and kicking plays, running plays are boring) but the hours I spent outside were amazing!

I noticed that most of the other people needed grilled burgers, cases of beer and a funnel for their good time outside, but me, I needed my newly-purchased Yale football, acres of grass, and a spectacular fall New England afternoon to have an unforgettable day!

2009 School Photos

Nov 15 2009

I am sure this might come as a total surprise to you, but these photos are from the 2009 JHE School Picture day and not from a GQ or Men’s Vogue cover shoot. I know it is easy to be confused about this because – even if I say so myself – I look pretty darn good! These are just a preview of the pictures though. Click here to see and download the full versions… except for that picture in the lower right. I don’t know what happened there, I think they messed up the lighting or the exposure or something because I don’t look as handsome as I normally do in that photo.

Halloween 2009

So aside from the fact that it’s my birthday, the end of October is awesome for another reason – Halloween! Let me see if I got this right, you get to play dress up and go around demanding people give you candy? That’s what Halloween is all about? Yeah, sounds pretty good to me. Count me in. And I was in this year. My buddy Mia came over to go Trick or Treating and then the next day me and Lily got dressed up at my birthday party. And Elmo showed up…but it’s not what you think!

My Birthday Celebrations

So I just turned two and I celebrated for pretty much an entire weekend. The fun started out with a cupcake bash in school and ended up with a Burrito fiesta in Easton that brought over a lot of family. What a great time we had! There were chips, salsa, steak, beans, guacamole and a cake in the shape of a pumpkin that my mom made. Oh yeah, you better believe it!

One Year Later…

Posted in Featured by Nate

Thought this would be a good time to look back at 2008 to see how much I’ve grown! Last year, I was at the mercy of these pumpkins. I mean, look at them. They look like they’re about to devour me. But in 2009, I owned this pumpkin patch! I could step on these things now and crush them. I am about to palm one of them like a miniature basketball for crying out loud!

My Head Is In The Clouds

This is a picture my dad made for an assignment in one of his classes. It is supposed to represent what he thinks I am thinking when I look up at the sky. And he’s got it pretty close actually! What’s funny is that the teacher told my dad that he ignored the specific requirements of the assignment but she gave him an A+ anyway because “that kid in the picture is just too cute to get a B!”

You all know what a great summer I had this year, but instead of being upset that the summer is gone, I’ve jumped into fall with everything I’ve got! Check out some of the things I’ve done so far – visits to the pumpkin patch, apple picking, hiking! Ahh…fall in New England.

All kids my age like to play dress up. Some get dressed up like policemen, some like to put on firefighters outfits. Well I tried something a little different. Here I got dressed up like Ali G! Booyakasha! You should have heard my ensuing interview with my school teacher. There are a lot of other fun photos in this set including one of me dressed up like a lion and one of me destroying a piece of cake.

I realize some of you reading this might not know who Ali G is. Here’s his photo.

My cousin Lily came over one day to visit and we caused so much trouble that I don’t think Dee-ta (formerly known as Auntie Virus) is gonna let Lily come to visit with me again anytime soon!

John & Kate plus N-Eight

Now that those TV people broke up, we’ve got the opportunity to take over this name! My pals John and Kate Clark came to visit us all the way from Georgia at the end of the summer and man did we have fun! I took them down the shore, then we partied back in Easton. It was such a great week.
